The Development of Social Cognition Lab is located at the University of Chicago Center for Early Childhood Research. Our research is broadly concerned with the development of social cognition. We place particular emphasis on the emergence of social group preferences and attitudes, often investigating children’s attention to language or accent as a marker of group membership.
